This medal for each map is transferred to the high scorer. so, this means that you can loose your medal if someone takes the top score. So, each map only has 1 medal holder at any given time.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
Will give bragging rights to best player for each map.
Just something to shoot for, and a little added competition among players.

I think that it is a good idea, but I would suggest just 1 medal for each map at any given time. So, you can loose your medal if someone overtakes your score. I see no problem with some players getting map crazy and trying to hold even more than 1 medal at a time. It sounds like a fun competition to me.

I also think that it is a good idea, I would like to see it happen.
Or another idea, maybe a simpler one, would be to just give a bronze medal for each map with +500 points, and +750 for silver, and +1000 for gold. These medals are perm. and can not be lost. Each map could have its own unique design.
Unique designs for 100+ maps probably isn't feasible. However, a standard bronze, silver, gold medals for wins on a specific map would be interesting---though I'm still unsure of its practicality.

You could issue medals to those who are the achieve top ratings on any map (as long as the are atleast 500 or so points on one.)
OR
Do it like a tourney contribution instead of medals. You could use a map image.

I will be happy to design them, or we could simply have a design competition.
i was thinking one medal design for all, and then in the profile u can expand the medals to see what map they have it on.. pretty much the same as the tournament win medals..
