Re: NFL 1v1 2009 Season - Week 6 & 7
Standing updated through Week 5.
Rnunez is stepping in to take over for the struggling Radiers. They host the 1-3 Eagles at home.
Dallas Cowboys remain our only undefeated team at 5-0, can 2-2 Atlanta end that win streak on the road?
The lowly Tennessee Titans are still winless through 5. They face the 1-4 Patriots on the road before entering a much needed bye week.
The AFC North still looks like the toughest division overall. Could they send 3 teams to the playoffs?
As an aside - the San Francisco 49ers have announced their intention to move into a new stadium (First Nations North America) before their next home game.

Re: NFL 1v1 2009 Season - Week 8
Week 8 games sent out.
Dallas remains unbeaten at 6-0, but faces a tough matchup against visiting Seattle. They'll need to keep rolling to stay ahead of the equally hot 6-1 Redskins. You'll want to circle Week 11 on your calendars when these two division rivals face off for the first time.
Oakland is 2-0 since head coach rnunez joined the team (after upsetting the formerly 5-1 NY Jets!) putting them back into contention in the AFC West. Can they do it on the road?
Meanwhile, the Steelers appear to be pulling ahead of the AFC North race, winning their last 4 after a 2 game home-stand (where they seem to be unstoppable). They'll take a bye this week with both the Ravens and Browns trying to trim down that lead.

Re: NFL 1v1 2009 Season - Week 8
Sorry for the delay in updates. Just waiting on one last game...
The Houston Texans had the Niners (me) on the verge of defeat with a 13-5 lead, but one Delay of Game penalty and a couple big plays later, the tables have turned and the Niners now lead by 10. Will the Texans attack be able to rally back and send the game into OT?

NYG & ARI were tied then ARI gave up two Delay of Game penalties before coming back to the game, but it didn't matter with a final score of 35-7 the Gaints won.lostatlimbo wrote:Sorry for the delay in updates. Just waiting on one last game...

Re: NFL 1v1 2009 Season - Week 8
Week 8 highlights so far:
- Undefeated Dallas scored on their first possession and look to have Seattle on the ropes with a 13 point lead.
- Niners complete back-to-back road wins over the Texans and Colts, but the Rams hold a large lead in Detroit.
- The revitalized Raiders took a tough division loss on the road to a motivated Chargers team. The Broncos also lost on the road, despite taking an early lead over the Ravens - putting the AFC West up for grabs.
- The winless Titans appear to be on the verge of notching their first victory over division leading Jaguars. Titans coach sportsgod24 before the game: "Going for my first win just like the real Titans!!" (RL synchronicity!)

Re: NFL 1v1 2009 Season - Week 9
Week 9 games sent out
5-2 Tampa Bay holds a small division lead. Coach amazzony will need her team's best against the 5-2 Packers to hold off the Saints and Panthers (both 4-3), who face each other on Saints turf.
With the Rams on bye this week, the 49ers host the formerly winless TItans in their new stadium to tie for the division lead. Don't count out the (4-3) Cards or Hawks yet. They each take on a 2-5 NFC North team this week to stay in the race.
Game of the Week: AFC West leading Denver Broncos hope to end their 3 game skid, but host the 6-1 Steelers who lead by only one game in the tough AFC North and have won their last 4.
This game will be watched closely by the Chiefs, Chargers and Ravens - each of them on the road with a chance to tie up their respective divisions, while Cleveland and Oakland sit nervously on Bye weeks.
In other news, the NY Jets relax on Bye this week with a comfortable 4 game lead and the Dallas Cowboys look to go 8-0 on the road against 2-5 Eagles.
Standings updated through Week 8
Correction - Baltimore Ravens are 5-2 *Bold denotes division leaders

Cool thing is this is like a home game for me. Arms Race is my best map.
