what's sad is that the greeks took many months to be conquered and technically never surrendered while the french became the nazi's puppet
If common sense was so common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Until we see barriers, i don't have much to say.

As it stands, this map is bland. nothing more than a bunch of countries packed together. I don't care if its france, spain, europe, or the moon, if it looks like this it won't be a game.

Show us how it will be interesting, give us something to talk about.

you want unique i could say that the defense only gets to roll a dice that goes to 5 however that wouldnt be very practical.

Unique is broad. Find something that is specifically unique to your map. Look at the natural layout of countries, borders, and geographical figures. Perhaps you can incorporate a new style of gameplay into the map, or perhaps you can achieve a perfectly balanced, yet fun map. Keep working on it and post your revisions. ;)

I believe that is why it is why, universally, mapmakers use directional coordinates (North, East, West, South)

i don't know what it would look like off the top of my head but maybe you should do a historical france map, like france under the rule of charlemagne, or napoleon, or something to that extent, just a suggestion though.

I didnt read all the topic, but I would like to say that your map is pretty unbalanced. Two smal continents, 1 medium, 1 big and 3 gigantic!! And 2 of these are occupying all the south, thats a big waste. I think that you should remove some countries, or add some more continents, or change the actual continents, because this map is in practice reduced to the North half.

as it stands right now there are give or take 54 countries. I'm trying to get it down to 42, so do you recommend the ones i merge are the ones in the south?

I'd say so. Either do that, or merge countries in other continents and then take continents from the south to give to those continents.

... but it'd be simpler just merge continents in the South.

Kyle, there's all kinds of rivers in France if you're looking for something to break the map up with.

Hmmm, maybe I can send you some suggestions about merging the countries, but only in some days, maybe in the weekend.
