It depends. In one game I played a while ago, there was a SK inside the mafia. It may not be a traitor necessarily, but somebody with a killing ability.wicked wrote:Or perhaps those were linked roles?
Would a traitor be able to kill independently of mafia?
Two mafia gone by the 2nd day! This ROCKS!!
I am sure that another cop role was unlocked in a game this large. There is probably a backup for the doctor too.AndyDufresne wrote:Hm, well 2 more ...we are down to 21 people now.
Points of interest for everyone to consider:--Andy
- The mafia had a cop, this suggests there might be 3 divisions of mutants here... (maybe more instigators?)
2 Mafia thus far, one killed during the day, one killed during the night.
A cop is gone, and in a game this large, perhaps we've got a back-up, or perhaps another role unlocked? I think I know who Master Bush investigated the first night also. We should take a closer look at his voting record also...
Actually, I was the Mafia SK in that game and the choices were not random. I don't understand why the SK would take out the mafia first, so, if my theory is correct, we have a newbie serial killer.AndyDufresne wrote:Hm, a serial killer in the Mafia could be an option...but it would have to be a random choice, or 'inversed' SK...as one most likely wouldn't take out a fellow mafia member (unless it is part of strategy to confuse?).

Yes, I did. I keep on making mistakes, I think it might be due to the fact that my mafia game is going on so I r5ush my posts a bit.AndyDufresne wrote:I think the Day COP has already been confirmed, Fircoal. Did you mean Day DOC?;)

Do you think we may have two mafia groups/families? Remember that neither of the dead mafia members did anything extraordinary to make them look guilty...wicked wrote:I didn't really see anything that Spiesr wrote that made him look mafia. So that's two mysterious mafia kills, from a vigililante I'm guessing? But no one is THAT lucky. So I'm not sure what killing role would be that precise! And how would one person get two kills? Probably not, so probably two independent killing roles that are pro-town? These are all just theories, just trying to make sense of what we're dealing with here.
Oh yeah, the mafia cop is another excellent clue. If it was a standard 2 side game the mafia would have no need for a cop...or very little anyway. I suppose it could be useful for finding power roles but it makes more sense to have two mafias.AndyDufresne wrote:I think Sully is onto something, regarding perhaps multiple mafias...I was thinking the same thing, since there was a mafia cop.

I always thought that mafia cops were ones who could see power roles.sully800 wrote:Oh yeah, the mafia cop is another excellent clue. By the way, does anyone have theories as to why Xenhu was posted in blue but Master Bush was listed in Green?
