Is there a pre-existing list of cc positions somewhere that one could peruse while contemplating which position would be a good fit? It's kinda like going to McDonald's-I know roughly what I'd like, but perhaps I wouldn't think of ordering the yogurt parfait until I saw it on the menu.

This list, which shows current Team CC Volunteer Positions (located on the bottom of forum pages) could fit the bill of something you are looking for.

What about something like a foundery assistant? They are not on the list, but it seems like a neccesary step in climbing to the rank of Cartogropher. Also if any of the current foundery assistants are applying for a CA possition there will need to bepeople to replace them.

Foundry Assistant is not a Team CC Volunteer---they are not a Moderator. They are a special-in-house helper for the Foundry, and are completely controlled by the Cartography Assistants. They have no behind the scenes access. If you'd like to become a Foundry Assistant, I suggest you contact MrBenn.

Well, how about a position for proof-reader? This way we can have Colton be part of the C.C. Team! He'd make a "grand decision" on some vital issue, but it would go through the "proof-reading & editing department" and then be published for public consumption.

THEN, we can add the new position of "Moderating the Moderator Department." Where all decisions concerning punishments of posters be issued FIRST to the Department of Moderating the Moderators. Where it will be decided whether the decision is biased, fair, outright stupid and/or otherwise plain dumb. After it has been researched, it will be either sent out for public consumption or thrown in the cyber-trash can.

BOY! We could make and expand many more committees and positions here at C.C. where posters like Colton could flourish and expand the horizons of C.C.!!!

I'd like to nominate Owenshooter, jefjef, Mr.Changsha, B.K.Barunt and Dancing Mustard to the newly created positions of "Moderating the Moderator Department"
