Have your battery and alternator tested at an auto parts store or garage. If the alternator is bad, then your battery won't recharge when you drive your car. I don't think I have to say why you should have the battery checked...strike wolf wrote:In other news. The battery on my car has died (or at least might as well be dead as all I can do is turn on the inside lights) but I don't know why. Re: the longest thread, thread - Occasionally NSFW
Jonesy didn't pick up on it either. basically it goes like this. Fry and the gang go out into space to watch a supernova. Fry makes popcorn and puts the metal non-microwavable popcorn maker into the microwave the radiation from the malfunctioning microwave and the supernova meet and form a time hole in which they end up in 1947 (Where else but Roswell, New Mexico). the Professor warns them that anything they do will have drastic repurcussions on the future. Hearing this and having it explained very thoroughly to him. Fry becomes worried about his grandfather (who he met on the army bases) and his grandfather's well being which leads him to drop his grandfather off in the midle of nowhere where nothing bad can happen aka the middle of a nuclear testing site so BAM fry's grandpa is dead. Fry goes over to tell his grandmother. His grandmother starts hitting on him. At first Fry is repulsed but then Fry thinks wait a minute my grandfather died but I'm still here. That must mean he wasn't my grandfather and if he isn't Fry's grandfather than she wasn't Fry's grandmother. Some stuff that can't be shown on TV ensues, it turns out she was Fry's grandmother and voila! Fry's his own grandfather.autoload wrote:I don't have a TV, remember?strike wolf wrote:Finally someone did.Lucarilover240 wrote:Just letting you know, yeah, I got the futurama refrence.

Well, let us assume your battery is dead. It could merely be drained and able to be recharged, or the battery is worn out and unable to be charged. They make testers that can tell you if a battery is completely dead or just discharged.strike wolf wrote:Explain it anyways for target.autoload wrote:Have your battery and alternator tested at an auto parts store or garage. Basically, you won't be wasting money buying a battery to replace a perfectly good battery.

Actually you can't become your own grandfather, because you'd only have 25% of your own chomosomes, which, um, doesn't work.Robert heinlein solved this one in All You Zombies - I won't say how, you should read it. It's quite a short story.autoload wrote:strike wolf wrote:Jonesy didn't pick up on it either. basically it goes like this. Fry and the gang go out into space to watch a supernova.
