For new movies, G Forcie is pretty funny. My son enjoyed it and I did, too.

People have already mentioned some of the biggies, (Schindler's list, etc.). However, here are a few I don't remember seeing listed already:

Stand by me
Tootsie
Highlander
Batman (the one with M Keaton)
Mr Smith goes to Washington
A home of our own
Lion King
Aladdin
The original "yours mind and ours" (with Lucille Ball) the newer version is OK, but the older one is funnier.


There are, of course, others, but I am having a hard time remembering names.

I watched James Mangold's 3:10 to Yuma again last night. Saw it in the theater twice, and have had it sitting on my shelf in DVD format for a couple months now. Finally felt like seeing it again.

Another title that MeDeFe mentioned, Ghost Dog, is another movie like that. I watch it about every 6 months or so. Absolutely love it.

Hero: with Jet Li, very good film.

La Haine: french film set in a suburb of Paris in the 90's. Black and white film, but don't let that put you off.

The Breakfast club: 'nuff said.

The Goonies: classic.


MDF will have to help me with this one. a German film, it's about an experiment in a prison with celebrities(i think). some of them are prisoners and some a prison gaurds. very good film if you can keep up with the subtitles. goes a bit tits-up with rape and all sorts of things happening.

That one's messed up.

It's basically just that case study from Psych 101, so no one should be surprised by what happens.

Der Untergang One of the greatest war films ever. Portrays Hitler's last week in the bunker in Berlin. Must see!

Out of what's out right now. Inglorious Basterds and District 9

The Hangover will be a good one to see once it's come out on DVD/Blu-ray.
