Once the last 2 games that I'm in are completed, I'll go away.
Thanks and goodbye.
You could always just not farm noobs, and just play people that have played 5 games. They would be just as new to conquer club, and would still probably need advice, and would give you the sense of meeting new people....
granted....not as many of them would be around as the ?'s, since so many of them leave without finishing their games, but thats kind of the point of the no farming rule

If the verdict is guilty as charged and once the 2 games that I'm in are completed, I'll retire from this fabulous site.
In response to your changed plan... Do you actually think that playing 30 new recruits inside of a month, most of which deadbeated as most do, actually is not farming? And if not, than what is farming, if not that?
I'm in favour of zero points for deadbeats of any new recruits and since I'm a freemium, I definitely don't want anybody to deadbeat.
As far as I'm concerned based on lackattack's "...joining a game here and there..." phrase, I've interpreted and understood it as "I won't get into any trouble if 2/3 of my games are played against non new recruits". Otherwise, please make it crystal clear with an illustration of facts and figures in the "New Years Resolution: Newbie Farming is not Cool" thread.
systematic, means joining lots of games against new recruits 10 would be farming, 20 most certainly... 30 in less than a month is crystal clear. I personally havent seen any more crystal clear cases, since the rule was established to be honest.
I'm the kind of person who would NOT
intentionally break any official rules and regulations under whatsoever circumstances, had I know of those facts and figures earlier which you've presented I won't play more than 5 new recruit games out of every 100 games.
Thanks, AAFitz for taking the time and effort to provide a detailed explanation here. I've always wanted to challenge you in a 1vs1 game on World 2.1 map.
Kindly allow me to clarify and stress that the plain & simple motivation for me to play games in Conquer Club is to join (
and not start, because my favourite colour is green) 1vs1 game against new recruits every now and then but still within 1/3 out of my every 100 games with the sole intention to extent my assistance for those who are struggling by imparting beginners *Hints & Tips* in the Game Chat. I don't care about points, period. My hope is that those new recruits whom I've advised, have learn something beneficial to improve upon their gameplay so that they can approach their next and future games more confidently. When I can't do what I really love to do, perhaps the time has come for me to retire from this fabulous site and move on in life that is to take over from my wife the role to put fertiliser around and water the plants in my spare time.
I apologise (
in advance if I've committed any wrongdoings) to the site owner, lackattack for any harm that I've created or done due to my ignorance of the site's official rules and regulations which I certainly did not mean to abuse.
Well thats all fine by me. Im more arguing that it was farming, and obvious at that. Im not really suggesting its all that bad, only that it is against the rules, and why. As a first time, as far as I know youd get a warning. To be honest, not many play so many before they get this warning, so in a way, you slipped through the cracks. If someone saw 7 games with new recruits in short period, youd have been reported then, and never would have gotten to 30. Youd have been warned, and the rules explained, and you could then go on to play one once in a while, instead of say, an average of one per day..or 1/3 of your games. And at 30 in a month, with a great number deadbeating, it wouldnt matter if that 30 was 5% of your games, it would still have been farming. From here, you just join games with people who play five games or more, and dont take advantage of the no shows, and you can still help out all the new players...and better yet... the ones that actually stick around to use it.
Im kind of surprised, you didnt do this before, with such a high rate deadbeating. I would think youd want your advice to go to those who would actually use it.
