Re: Vampire Mafia for begginers- Day 2.
Aside from drawing attention away from CW suddenly getting votes, can anyone please explain why we are doing this? I don't see a point to it at all. Also, I find MeDeFe's quote very suspicious:
I'm retaining my vote for CW. I believe he is scum, I'm not getting suckered into this paper-thin ploy by cena and MeDeFe to draw attention away from CW. If anyone wants to know my voting, they can go back through the thread to find out.
What does a voteless townie have to do with lynching or no lyching? I don't see why we should have to find a voteless townie, unless of course the vampires want to know who they shouldn't be bothered killing during night phase.Well, if we find the voteless townie that's one person we can be fairly certain we shouldn't lynch.

If the voteless person voted for Falko "yesterday" we can repeat the experiment of giving him 8 votes and seeing if he lives, otherwise we can let it be. Since we don't know how pmc calculates votes against Falko (if Falko is telling the truth) it could be that Falko would be lynched if people keep adding votes until pmc counts 8 against him.

Re: Vampire Mafia for begginers- Day 2.
If it's a voteless townie, as the more experienced players say is usually the case, we shouldn't lynch him. For every person who's most probably or even verifiably a townie, the list of people who are possibly scum gets shorter.e_i_pi wrote:Aside from drawing attention away from CW suddenly getting votes, can anyone please explain why we are doing this? Even if this voteless person is scum we'll know he's voteless (though that is getting very hypothetical). In either case we can go back and see whether Falko had 7 votes from 8 people against him because he's the mayor and needs one extra to be lynched, or because the voteless person voted for him. If it's the former we know he's telling the truth about being pro-town. And again the list of suspects is shortened.

Why would there be a voteless townie? It seems as if there were a voteless townie it would be really pointless. UNLESS it went along with a night role like investigation, or bulletproof or something. I will unvote since I think it would be better if no one figured out who the voteless townie was, since the mafia could just target them.

The mafia could do that anyway, couldn't they? And if we (as is probable) have a protecting role or two chances are they wouldn't manage to kill them if they did. My point was I doubt that there would be somebody that is only a voteles townie. Most likey their votless ness is balanced out by a power role.

Re: Vampire Mafia for begginers- Day 2.
Cena's right. Although the voteless townie would also have a power role of some sort, the mafia would keep him alive only because it would be a waste of a NK to kill him. He can't vote against them.cena-rules wrote:the problem is, a voteless townie doesnt add to the town so there would be no point the mafia targeting himMeDeFe wrote:The mafia could do that anyway, couldn't they? Your reasoning is pretty odd...what are you going to do, go around 1 by 1 trying to see if people will vote back for you? Seems like a pretty big waste of time to me...

The vote count is correct, to my knowledge. I removed cena's vote cause masterchief is no longer playing.

A double voter almost guarantees that someone else has no vote at all, so Falko is officially not cleared, IMO.
