Game 4882156 is complete.

Are there targets in game we are not supposed to hit? Or is that only determined after the game has been completed?

I think it's determined after the fact--mainly because no one can tell what their species/designation is.

That's why it is fog, that way you couldn't really tell. You will be told after all games are complete whether you survived. I guess I could tell after a game has finished as you will be randomly assigned to the next template and hopefully not face a known species.

Only Vampires are left, so the finals is a 7-player battle to decide the ultimate winner.

Up until the finals, only werewolves can kill vampires. You as a vampire, where eliminated in the last game by a vampire, so you are not dead. One of the unique twists of this setup. 2 of the 7 players made it to the finals without winning a game.

Final Round: Once all of one race (V or W) is eliminated, all Humans become the remaining race. Humans will eventually become the remaining race as they can’t kill, so we will not play out those games just to make sure it happens. (Redundant). The final battle will be to see who is the Vampire King or the Werewolf Pack Leader, and is thus declared the winner.

I want to go on record with my thoughts on this final. The nicest way I could put it is it left a very bitter taste in my mouth. The "winner" didn't win a single game the entire tournament (I understand that was a rule but still...) which wouldn't bother me so much if she hadn't also missed two consecutive turns before swooping in and sweeping the board. Honestly, this was extremely frustrating especially since the other players left in the game at that point, crbluth, Blobby, harvmax, MEK and myself all played so well and we're much more deserving of this championship. I'm sure this will sound like sour grapes, but Arya really doesn't deserve any congratulations, as she essentially lucked her way into the finals then bumbled into winning it by missing turns at the right time. Very disappointing end to an otherwise excellent tourney.

2009-08-25 11:39:25 - Arya received 3 troops for 1 regions
2009-08-25 11:39:25 - Arya received 6 deferred troops for missing 2 rounds
2009-08-25 11:39:28 - Arya cashed in a group of Ukraine, Albania, and Western Russia worth 50 troops
2009-08-25 11:39:30 - Arya deployed 53 troops on Portugal
2009-08-25 11:39:43 - Arya assaulted Spain from Portugal and conquered it from perchorin

While I partially agree, you sat for 2 rounds when Arya had only 1 region left and had 4 cards. You had your opportunity by the game log and decided to leave her there. You should have taken her out and taken the cards. You had her blocked in PORTUGAL via SPAIN and failed to take any action so you only have yourself to blame. I don't know how many men were there since it was fog, but I sense you missed and opportunity several times.

It's absolutely true, I blew it as I did have the chance to finish green and didn't. I certainly deserve some blame for the outcome and will accept it. I simply can't understand though how someone misses two consecutive turns in an escalating tournament final round. Anyway live and learn I suppose. Apologies to the rest of you guys in that game.
