but, I am still confused on this

Just a question here, ok?

Do you really think it is necessary and fair to strip away a medal or medals from some players who already received them? I mean they did put forth some effort and time and earned them, and now because of some rule change, you automatically strip some players of their medals? If they already received them, you should NOT be allowed to take them away and I suggest you give them back. If you make a new ruling, that is fine, but the new ruling needs to be posted and crystal clear so all know of this in advance, and the tourney organizers who got their medals stripped should be considered for being grandfathered in and would count.

However, on the date of the new rule change, any further players creating all around the cc maps series or whatever you deem (for example) inappropriate should start and the effective date should start on the date of the new rule change this day forward. It is just bad business to change a rule after a tourney is completed or has been completed for months and they were already awarded it.


Take the NFL for example or ANY sport or game, they happen to change some rules after years end, and let ALL involved know in advance of the rules change and starting on this date forward this will be the new rule. They simply do not discredit any player from their stats or work or what they may have accomplished prior to the new rule. I mean, it all counts, but now with the new rule on this specific date forward, they will no longer count like they used to.


Finally, this is the same with employment, jobs of occupation, all have rules policies and procedures that we all have to go by and we all try to go by the best we can. Example: changes in paperwork or documentation. I mean all that work is legit and counts and is credible. Now with new paperwork coding or what not, on a specific date and they usually give about 2 weeks notice and will post, email, have meetings and share the upcoming changes and from this new date forward your paperwork or whatever will be incorrect or will not count unless you do this new code or rule, but all the paperwork prior to this new rule or law does count for that time. Also, most jobs may require a 4 year college degree, but some who have worked a long time may only have a high school degree and they are grandfathered in and do not have to go to college, although their supervisor may suggest it, it is not mandatory, but , it very well may be mandatory for all new hires to have a 4 year degree.


This is not meant for an argument, rather for clarification and attempting to seek understanding and fairness.

I suppose I could gilly, however, there is so many that have 27, be hard to list them all, I am still trying to find some hidden gems, i think there is a few others I have missed that have around 30
