Postby mccallan25 on Fri Jul 17, 2009 11:00 pm

Accused:

intricate80
NoteDeath

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis

Game number(s):

Game 5269596
Game 5269907

They do overlap turns...don't really go for each other. Once confronted the following was said:
2009-07-16 23:55:56 - Crazyirishman: Good Luck
2009-07-17 19:09:37 - mad_buddha: Salve, good luck folks
2009-07-17 22:33:01 - NoteDeath: i'm new this website. GL to everyone
2009-07-17 22:47:24 - NoteDeath: to *
2009-07-17 22:47:49 - mccallan25: do know
2009-07-17 22:47:58 - mccallan25: that your not allowed to play mulitple accounts
2009-07-17 22:52:28 - NoteDeath: oh?
2009-07-17 22:52:30 - NoteDeath: ok

I doubt they are ghosting IP's so give them a whirl and we shall see.

I get the suspicion but even though it is possible for one person to log on and off to take his turns simultaneously like I am posting below I seriously doubt that this person knows to do this to try to prevent being detected as a multi. Sure it could be someone who has been to the site before but looking at the tactics of both players in their active games they have,I think these are 2 new players that just show you similarities of a multi, and have no clue why he commented back like that in chat. Could be wrong but here's the excerpt from one of the games their in together. (Freestyle)

Game 5269596 Log wrote:2009-07-17 23:44:13 - NoteDeath reinforced ? with 1 troops from ?
2009-07-17 23:44:19 - intricate80 deployed 6 troops on ?
2009-07-17 23:44:50 - NoteDeath ended the turn and got spoils
2009-07-17 23:50:00 - intricate80 deployed 5 troops on ?

The other game shows the same thing, them sometimes playing at the same time in the Freestyle match, but have enough time in between their simultaneous turns that one could log in and out.

Could go either way

Good Luck,
King Sam

yeah I know you can use multiple browsers or computers to access 2 accounts at the same time, I just dont see it plausible in this case.

I may be wrong, but my opinion is that this is more then 1 account.

Good Luck,

I use to give away 10-12 memberships a year for 2 years straight and stopped 2 months ago.

I stopped purchasing gifts and my own in favor of spending more time at another site.

You statement has no prevalence to this thread.

One of the biggest things I do not like over the past nine months is the huge influx of fake accounts. Someone or several have some kind of program that creates accounts by the hundreds a day. They create an account, join one game usually the kind I like which are World 2.1 freestyle, games and never show up to play. There were times I would create about 20 games just to see how many in one day would turn out and usually I had 1-2 of them in every game. Most people that create an account will join many games and then walk away when it takes too long for their turns to happen. I put a lot of thought into this and decided that there was only one rational behind it. I had complained many times to no avail and even asked a few programmers for a solution which said that would be easy to make. So then one pointed out who knew I did at one point want to purchase the site but didn't pursue because of his outlandish price tag he asked for it what might be the answers. Either ex-employees or kicked out customers are trying to disrupt the flow or someone else might be artificially trying to increase the membership numbers to be able to justify a sale price. Either way it was easy fixable.

I have a core group of friends on here of about 50 who I have enjoyed some great times with. I have met hundreds of immature kids and adults that have deterred from this experience. In the end I have just seen no need to add another 400 dollars into someone else's pockets for an experience that really hasn't been that rewarding.

Well we all know busted players are always jumping back in. It's a cool site. cool maps. cool game and there are cool people here too. C C could reduce some of the multi crap (that they aren't creating) by not letting freemium play premium customers. They could offer there free play to entice people to buy in and they could keep us all separated. How many people would spend 25$ for an extra premium account? Not me. And if its a freemium multi and unable to affect me as a premium that eliminates a lot of "cares". Heck you might even be interested in going premium again.

I understand mccallan25's frustration with deadbeat recruits which is multiplied by three days for each additional ? in the game. This really pushes the limits of patience while waiting for a game to actually get going. I'd always hoped a change might be incorporated to kick players who miss their first turns --same as 3-miss deadbeats-- to expedite the play and remove no-shows from the game.

On the topic of the OP... two recruits joining the site 3 minutes apart
and playing together can certainly be suspicious.

If not a multi... potentially the secret alliance of RL friends
using outside communication to coordinate attacks.

They could create a semi-casual game setting where you have 12 hours to take your turn and you were kicked after missing 2 turns.

But I agree it does sound odd that they only get on when the other is on and get off precisely when the other gets off. This would be difficult for even real friends outside of CC.

intricate80 is Cleared of being a multi. It seems that NotreDeath was Busted with Letio, calcnumber, gastmania, and GodDeath.
