You have pretty course language for being 11 years old. But not to be off topic how about the mods create a system of mod approval before allowing a cheat & abuse complaint posting. It would cut down on a lot of I'm "mad" complaints.

Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits.

YOU HAVE CLEAR PROOF OF HIM HOLDING YOU HOSTAGE...AND IF CC DON'T DO NOTHING ABOUT IT ,THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG

Taking one turn per day can never constituting holding someone hostage unless you prolong the game by refusing to kill off your opponent. Taking one turn per day:
- as a defensive move hoping for the other guy to eventually miss a turn;
- for not being inspired to play the game in question; or
- just out of spite
is not holding someone hostage.

This is why there's a premium option. Just pay for it and it's not a problem. This specific freemium problem (i.e. that games lasts several days or weeks) is not something that CC in any way can apply sanctions to solve/ease.

You seem pretty intent on letting this guy go free, perhaps you do the same thing? Once more, it's not about just taking one turn a day. It's about him saying he will hold me hostage because I failed to throw the game in his favor, it's because he did so just to make it take longer because he wasn't getting his way. Making a game take longer than it should is clearly prolonging the game, he even admitted that he wanted to prolong the game and hold it hostage. That is obviously a gross misuse of the game. You seem to be purposely misunderstanding that, yeah he is going to take one turn a day, but it's why he is going to do this. And from BoganGod's statement it can be gathered that he does this quiet often when things don't go his way. Again, if he didn't say that he was going to hold my game as his hostage there would be no report. But there is a clear confession.

This doesn't count as a hostage game because he is not in a clearly superior position to wipe you out, in fact he's in a weaker position than you, Strife.

It's not against the rules, but it is cheap and intentionally annoying to purposefully prolong a game in this manner. As Jpcloet said:

THIS IS THE SINGULARLY MOST FRIVOLOUS COMPLAINT EVER LODGED IN THESE FORUMS.

I saw nothing that would indicate the game was being "held hostage." I saw some things that could be construed that way by someone who is intolerant and doesn't recognize the other player's first language is not English so their phrasing may be confused and communicate an intent other than that planned.

Sheesh - just foe them and rate them appropriately. Is it necessary to file complaint after complaint after complaint just because your feelings are hurt?

I'm so tired of seeing the same 2 or 3 people go running to mommy several times a week to file complaints.

DECISION:

1 - Complaint investigated and dismissed by the Tolerance Committee.
