3.- If the player challenged does not respond within 3 days, he loses the challenge and he/she exchanges places on the ladder with the challenger. If the challenger does not join the game within 3 days, everything remains the same.

from 3 days, to something shorter...maybe 2 days? Possibly, from the time of being challenged, you have 2 days to pick your map settings and join games?

Just seems it's gonna be hard getting games for people that want them, even more so if some players are taking a full 3 days to get settings up and join games

well, it will definitely allow for half a week of stalling. When friday rolls around..no one on the top is going to join a game too quickly...not to say they will try to finish it quickly either..lol I agree with the 2 though...except lindax has done these before...he may have good reason for picking it...which includes the fact that he has to send out games, notification, etc.

AAFitz is correct, you cannot challenge "the winner or loser of an ongoing game", which is what I call a "future challenge".

As mentioned, I do indeed have reasons for the 3 days. In my experience 2 days is too short. Somebody may have just logged off when he is challenged and not log on until 24 hours later. Person is busy, forgets to check this thread, logs on again 24 hours later and finds out he's too late. Not everybody is online as much as some of us (including myself). There are also organizational reasons on my part.

It is true that players can stall for a few days, however they can also do that by taking 1 turn every 24 hours. In general stalling is not beneficial, because you get points for every challenge.

I'm not saying I'm against changing something, let's see how things go for a while and if deemed useful or necessary, I will make adjustments....
