- Quadruple games with a 'mole' option. Those familiar with the old game show 'The Mole' (ABC, 5 or so years ago) should recognize this.
Specifics:
- In a quadruples game, allow the 'Mole' option.
- The Mole is the player inside the Team that is actually playing AGAINST the team. They talk in team chat the same as a 'loyal' Team member and (in fog games) sees their own team's deployment the same as a 'loyal' Team member. (Also, they don't see the other team's deployment in fog games).
- The Mole cannot talk via private message to the other team. (This is the same way a person in a standard game now can't PM another player about strategy, even one they've supposed made a truce/deal with).
- The Mole of Team 1 gets or loses points as a Team 2 player.
- Team 1 sees who the Mole is on Team 2, but does not see who the Mole is in their own Team. i.e. - there is a designation beside their name like in the assassin games.
- In game chat, the first entry is
either: 'You are NOT the Mole.'
or: 'You ARE the Mole.'
- In winning the game, Team 2 (for example) would still have to kill Team 1's Mole. This would be just to simplify matters. (I could really care less about this rule; I just figure coding may be easier this way).
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- Another interesting gameplay. Strategy lovers unite!
fantastic idea, but 1 problem that i can see, the bolded part. There are a lot of other ways to talk to other players, outside of CC.
I would suggest that the mole maybe gets to see both game chats but only post in there own, so intructions may be given, but strategy not discussed or identity given away
Also, no1 on either team can know who the mole is, again to stop communication to them.
If this is ironed out this could be a fantastic new gameplay option
