18 and over forum

I proposed something earlier, the opposite, though --a parent/child clan. However, CC would just have no way to verify this. As a clan, it could have a lot tighter rules and could even be hidden, by invitation only.

However, I think a better question is why? That is, yes, I understand "why", but why would it belong here? Aren't there plenty of places where people can talk however they wish with no restrictions? Seems the problem is not having open forums, its more having places where certain things are not brought up.

It seems like the only way they could enforce the age restriction for something like this would be to REQUIRE the use of a credit card just to create an account on the site. There are a lot of folks (I am one) who would NOT be willing to do this, meaning that the NEW userbase for the site would dwindle sharply.

i normally did not visit the flame wars forum, and that wasnt my intention of this suggestion, but i can see the validity and usefullness of having a flame wars forum.
