This, Klobber, is a fallacy. I think you are cerebral enough to understand that luck is present everywhere, either despite or because of the form in which it manifests itself.KLOBBER wrote:
You may not know, but I certainly do.
"Luck" is a mythological concept, completely unbacked by any type of evidence, thoroughly unscientific, having no existence in reality, and tailor-made for the caveman, and for the unskilled and unintelligent to fall back on when they discover the fact that others are simply better than them.
Thank you.kiddicus maximus wrote:...luck cannot be proven....KLOBBER wrote:

I would say that, depending on the game type, a lack of skill will cause you to be put out by poor "luck" in the first 3 rounds.LordThor wrote:there is no doubt in my mind that if you have 3 turns of lousy luck at the start of any game you are in a loosing position, and a good deal of skill and future luck is required to turn it around, not always possible.

If you experience bad "luck" (dice, drop, etc.) in the first 3 rounds, you should have little trouble staying in a decent position if you know how to minimize the damage. Of course there are exceptions to this.john9blue wrote:What?Timminz wrote:I would say that, depending on the game type, a lack of skill will cause you to be put out by poor "luck" in the first 3 rounds.
