Re: d_cay - very cheap tactics
I believe this belongs in the cheating and abuse. If it's that bad that you needed to post, next time post in cheating and abuse.
Re: xelabale employs cheap tactics
That wasn't even a spark. All I did was point out the obvious to the intentionally oblivious.xelabale wrote:This doesn't appear to reach the level of discussion - why are you flaming me?oVo wrote:That would be even lamer than anything you've already posted here.

I second that.JCKing wrote:I believe this belongs in the cheating and abuse. If it's that bad that you needed to post, next time post in cheating and abuse.
TO: oVo and Woodruff
I think the original post in this thread is a flame under the current definition in the community guidelines. Instead of repeatedly citing ad-hominem fallacious arguments against xelabale, might I suggest you propose a change to the current definition of flaming in the community guidelines to ensure that threads like this one can no longer be classed as flames.

Seconding a moot point? Stir an empty bucket as much as you like, the content remains the same.calkid wrote:normally i keep the b.s. within the game, but i just played a game with d_cay on the usa map. a game that coulda been taken out on round 8, it lasted to round 12. normally, i don't give a crap, but this guy had an extreme advantage. i even conceded to him in game chat. i've played in enough games to know it was just a matter of time. instead of attacking me, he stocks up his armies and attacks the neutrals.
this guy has also played in enough games to know that the game was over. his excuse was that he had seen come backs before in our situation but i beg to differ. why people have a need to rub in a win, i will never know. all i wanted to do was finish the game and start a new one. it was rt, but he was the slowest rt player i ever played with too
anyway, just wanted to warn people about his cheap tactics play that had nothing to do with wining a game, but rubbing in the win....i dunno if it's just me, but i despise those people. they are a short step above people who cheat and use dupes
that's my bitching for today.... watch out for that guy d_cay. he's pretty high rank and unbelievably has a good rating....

The irony is palpable. Way to get all bent over OP's rant.

Precisely!Sperpurber wrote:The irony is palpable. Way to get all bent over OP's rant.
Further more, it's a rant, rant = flame, therefore the original post is a flame, end of argument.
Now move on, both of you.

What argument? You have yet to make a valid point.
A rant is not the equivalent of a flame.

Where is the discussion?Forum Guidelines wrote:Flames are posts or parts of posts which, directly or indirectly, insult, belittle, bully, name-call, or otherwise attack another user is not allowed.
Yes, we are liberal on course language, but this does not mean cyber-bullying is acceptable anywhere. You will be removed from the community for cyber-bullying.
Flaming will get your post edited/deleted and will get you a warning from a mod. Cyber-bullying will be removed, and an admin will probably come down on you like a ton of bricks.

Re: d_cay - very cheap tactics
Since when is it ok to tell someone how they have to win? What you call rubbing in a win, someone else might call cautious play. I don't think it's fair to attack calkid if he attacks neutrals and secures bonuses before confronting you head-on.
