thats two.....
Anyways
1. Fuedal
2. Pelo. War
3. Waterloo
But these maps (except fuedal) are just stages, i'll grow out of them and into liking new other maps
The first one is fairly obvious for anyone taking a single, quick look at my game list. World 2.1. I think it's actually the map I've played more than all the other maps combined. By a margin. It's certainly where I've gotten most of my points.
As for other maps.. I do like Classic. In a shared third I think I would have to put Asia and Iberia. As you probably can tell by now, I'm not a huge fan of the more "funky" maps, with very different gameplay. I'll play most of them (though some, like Waterloo or Conquer Man I stay far away from), but generally I prefer the standard gameplay.
2.1 for large singles and 8 man dubs. Easily my favourite map and the main reason I became so interested in CC.
Classic for large singles and triples games. I miss the real map but have learned to appreciate the shapes map for triples (it seems to just work for me) and I prefer the art map for singles as it looks more like the real deal.
Europa hasn't been mentioned yet, but I have found it to be an excellent map for large no cards singles games.
Have yet to have any desire to play the more 'complex' maps, I suspect that is mainly because they wouldn't suit my style of play.
Well, my favorite map for 1-vs-1 is Circus Maximus (and it's not even close)...however, it's only "ok" for multi-player games. Since I try to play mostly 8-player games otherwise, that's how I'll rate (and it was very tough limiting this to just my top 3):
Supermax: Prison Riot
WWII Ardennes
WWII Europe (the really big-ass one...and yes, big-ass is the technical term)
My favorite is the one I designed - American Civil War - which has averaged 3 games per hour over a period of about 16 months.
My other two favorites are Qwert's WW2 Eastern Europe and the original Europe map.
