Urm, the King wasn't all that useful and was a tad senile, so the fact that he has no abilities doesn't surprise me. Although the king would not be important to have in the game, I think it would be a character likely to be added into it. since no one else is claiming the role, I tend to believe him.

It's just that I sort of assumed this would be a non-vanilla game, of course we players do not know anything specific about the setup. I apologize in advance if this seems a bit intrusive, but I'm curious, did anyone else here receive a vanilla role? It could be important in catching scum early on, and give town significant advantage without outing any power roles, if no one else received such a role, we can assume Captain is lying. (or at the very least unaware of his true role.)

I guess I won't waste a vote on a potential vanilla townie - captainwalrus - but I would like us to reopen the issue if a copcheck or personal testimony deem him guilty.

I won't put my vote behind Suspect101 for the same reason. Yesterday's pettiness isn't particularly anti-town. As I said then, we can ignore a jester or lynch scum, but we should reserve our votes for different behavior.

1) I didint really see what captainwalrus did to deserve all his votes

Either it was simply for the calm request to stop posting in red, which is a stupid reason to vote in the first place, or it was OMGUS, which is a scumtell. What amazes me is that my irrelevant questions or statements keep getting misread or read too much into. Not to beat a dead horse but for the years I've played mafia they were called revenge votes and not OMGUS votes. Look at my first mafia game. I nearly got lynched for a revenge vote (It was NV3 I do believe).
