Shouldn't it be just like other IMing services where it tells you when your buddy is typing
Concise description:
In the live chat show you when someone is typing, display at the bottom of the screen "SS is typing..." if multiple players show "SS, DD, GG is typing..."
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
No messages sent over another
Less confusion

i dont know about the know messages sent over another, even on msn with 2 people messages are often sent over each other, but it certainly would be nice to know someone is writing something!
Well since the topic is "Live Chat" id like to throw in a complaint...Too lazy for the record.
Give or take in november of last year i got banned from Live Chat because Twill thought i was wicked (Yes she had access to my account, i had her watch my account BEFORE her little "incident") Ive talked to Twill and he said he'd reinstate me back into Live Chat, normally i wouldnt care but for days like these when im bored i'd like to get on...Anyways, no plan of action has yet to be taken and since Twill has stepped down, who is the head honcho i talk to now.

Maybe you should change the name of the thread to give it a bit more distinction and focus ? The title "Live chat" opens the way to a wide series of conversations as shown by DDS.
