For a 9 player game I don't think their would be a role who starts out bad then turns good then back to bad. It just seems hard to believe in a small game, maybe in a bigger one.

2. Since we know the setup is C9, the only possible power roles are doctor, cop, and mafia.

I've never played any of the games, and I'm not familiar with the series, so I can't say anything about Captain Quark.

Hey, I tried to start a bandwagon on MM on my very first post. It is suspicious that a evil mad doctor is in a game with an evil mad doctor as the villain, but no one listened. So then this guy asked which person we should bandwagon, so we decided that that is the guy we should bandwagon.

I actually tend to think that there isnt a doc in this game. If ani told the truth about how he made the setup then there is a 50% chance that there isnt one. I think spiesr is scum and has reached the good chance that there isnt one so it is a safe claim. So I think spiesr is mafia and is using it as a coverup.

I don't know what to make of this claim. I didn't think spiesr was scummy before I read the claim, and it is possible that spiesr really is a doctor. However, from the C9 games I've read through, scum commonly claim doctor to both avoid being lynched and to try to out the town doctor. Therefore, you really can't trust someone who claims doctor in a C9 game.

If you want to talk numbers, the odds of spiesr being a doctor in any given C9 game are 1 in 14. The odds of spiesr being scum are 2 in 7 (Assuming roles are handed out randomly). Scum like to claim doctor because the town doesn't want to lynch its doctor, and the game may not even have a doctor, resulting in a safe claim 50% of the time. It is far more likely that spiesr is scum than town, even if scum only claim doctor a low percentage (maybe 50%) of the time.

There is a 75% chance that at least a dr. or cop exists. you are banking on spieser being scum and no cop or dr. existing. There is a 2 out of 7 chance he is scum and a 25% chance that neither a dr or a cop exist. The chances that he is scum, that he cannot be investigated, and that no dr exist is less than 7 percent.
