The Rankine theory states "the failure of a material - either yielding or fracture - occurs when the maximum principal stress in the complex stress state of a material reaches the failure stress of the material in simple tension".

but someone I know is safe and snug.. and they´re drifting off to sleep

round and round.. a little boat no bigger than your hand
out on the ocean far away from land

take the little sail down - light the little light
this is the way to the garden in the night

who´s here?
It´s makka pakka with his red chillum!

nuh uh...they're UNRELATED!
The original post relates to the value of transforming radiant energy into a chemical form, where the second one refers to configuring pixels to document the image of something physical with the aid of a borrowed mechanical device.

I have to go with LZ on this one. You can try to distinguish them from each other by coming up with all the obtuse and arcane definitions that you want, but they're still both making something out of light.

Oh come on, it wasn't that hair-splitting. LZ had a reasonable point. Granted that none of it really matters and so what... But still, oVo's attempt at sidestepping LZ's objection via linguistic contortions and partial truth was far lamer than LZ actually trying to enforce the rules of this pointless waste of time.

In all the Tarzan movies, when Tarzan rides an elephant, it is an indian elephant with false ears.
This is because African Elephants have a lot of short and uncomfortably scratchy bristles on top of their head, not suitable for sitting on in a loincloth.
