Slash through text
Specifics:
Able to write something and put a slash through it
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
Would help making tournaments that are ongoing easier to understand
help me remember whos been elimanted and whos moved on without digging through 3 or 4 pages of posts
Not sure if we were able to do this already as i havnt figured out how yet

you can't currently do this, the next closest thing would be to change the color (to red or something) which can be done with the Font colour button

Try to do the little things when I can.
If it makes Tournaments and other lists easier to understand, we should have it.

Nifty.
Youtube tags are a bad idea. Not everyone has a good enough internet connection to download/play a video file on a site that they aren't expecting one to be on. Plus, it may open up the database to viruses or something, which is probably why lack doesn't let us embed files into our posts.

The slow internet is the reason I didn't suggest them, it can't open the database to viruses or anything, as the video include is put in the html that is sent to clients and not saved.

For YouTube you don't have to load it, it comes up on the screen with that big [> ] thing. That affects internet? I thought it was just the d/l'ing of the info when you hit play.

It would be helpful if the 's' button was in strikethrough, and adjacent to the other text formatting buttons ( B i u s )
I just saw the button appear and had no idea what it was!

I'm not sure I can do a reordering as suggested--since b,i,u,quote, etc are default with the forum software, but I'll see what I can do. If you hover the icon, it tells you what it is also.

I always knew the
slash existed but ...
Ok... I see it, but does it have a special purpose?

Part of it is to allow people to show how the tags like strikethrough work and another part is to show XML or pHp code so that it does not take up the whole screen. The code box has a maximum height, anything longer than the max and a scroll bar appears. (At least that is why I have seen people using the code box in the past.)

It also stops the parsing of BB codes.. and allows you to post html or php (sometimes restrictions are set on these)
