we appreciate the lovely comments guys, but we have never turned down any challenges, excuse us for not turning down a challenge. i suppose we should run or hide next time. also, our challenge vs thota has not been accepted in ANY of the times that we have challenged them. Sorry if you guys feel bad about this, i could care less really. my respect for certain clans (both of which was pretty high a couple minutes ago) has just plummeted a little.

if you are going to start spamming though, please just open a new topic in flame wars and i will gladly talk it over with you there as this is not the thread for that. :D

Not to mention that they needed a challenge in the books to become part of the CLA, i guess we will represent well and tell them to F*** off next time.

in 100% seriousness though, i thought (still do think) that the upper clans lose more points if they do bad against a lesser clan and same visa versa. correct me if i am wrong (apparently i am with all these friendly comments)

i dont recall the cla wanting us to turn away challenges when they are needed to get into the cla though.

Hey now, don't take it personally.

It's not that I'm complaining about your clan as much as I am about the current system. Skyforce did the same with our war with waters fury. We accepted the challenge not realizing the consequences of taking out a clan that has no business challenging us. There needs to be something like not counting scores for challenges with clans who have less than X number of challenges. Thus, after x challenges, we'll know more about their relative value and how good a 14-1 score really is.

Sure, but it's not like we sought out the challenge. They challenged us, were an unknown quantity, and now theres a couple of hyenas dancing round thinking their snide comments are God's gift to forums. Refusing a challenge is not something LoW is in the habit of doing. They challenged us, we accepted, we are leading, end of story.

I also notice there were absolutely no complaints about the challenge before it started, which suggests to me that the complainants are jealous of our current record in this challenge, not disapproving of the challenge itself. I think if it were a closer scoreline, it wouldn't rate a mention, but because we have lost only 1 game so far apparently we're the spawn of Satan. If it were the case that they thought we shouldn't accept challenges from clans that haven't had a challenge yet, they should have spoken up previously, instead of retrospectively making their own rules on what is acceptable. Personally, I think it unacceptable that players not involved in a challenge should rabbit on about it in the challenge thread, but hey I'm just an ordinary player, not some honorary enfant terrible marching around hassling people, straining to make sure their grand poobah status isn't disturbed by some parvenu who thinks they can get away with playing the game and seeing success.

oh. well maybe i took it wrong, with a few other comments that were made. either way, we were giving them their challenge as they need one in order to get admitted into the CLA, next thing i know i have a couple comments about farming etc... i could care less what the scoreboard says, i know LoW is the best and for the most part i only care that we are on top of the ladder so that everyone else knows only. if it said we were last or first we would still have accepted the challenge.

I think we are seeing that (for the most part) how established some of the clans really are. Many new clans are facing a first challenge beat down, regardless of who plays them. Anyone can put a clan together, but it takes time to learn to play and win together. We're seeing probably 3-5 Elite clans, another 10-12 Solid clans and the remainder as "Too early to rate" or "Not ready". The ladder rankings will eventually sort itself out and we've made several positive changes already, with some more to come. I think the clan league will better represent where clans sit in the rankings, and LOW is upper-class there too.

For now we are just a mere stain on influence of CC's competitive clan list. Our primary objective was to see how we did against a clan that was considered one of the elite, and I myself have no regrets to how this is going. As for reptile and the rest of LoW, they have shown excellent sportsmanship and also helped us learn our mistakes along the way. I don't see how any of you have the right to even comment as empty-headed as you have. I personally praise LoW for taking on a clan like us because they had no idea what we were capable of, and we have no single member over the rank of Major. This is a learning experience, and an excellent opportunity for a new clan like ourselves. How did any of you learn to play as a team? Why don't you all think back to where you started before you speak so judgementally on someones success.

I thank you LoW for the honor and the opportunity you have given us lowly pessants of the CC community. You have great character and great teamwork. Your possition in the ranks is well deserved.

Thank you surgeon. I hope this challenge nor any of the comments made there-in have made your clan think badly of what the CLA is trying to do. There were a few misunderstandings, but overall the CLA is a great ideah and will pay off greatly in the long run.

As for your clan Surgeon, keep trucking and i commend you all on challenging Legends of War. Maybe once this completes and you are part of the CLA you can give some of the other clans here a run for their money. the score might not show it now, but you guys are all doing great.

Yeah, as Surgeon said, thanks to LoW for even bothering to take a challenge from a clan like us. I just got back from a huuuuuge CC inactivity and would've been more active in the war had I still had premium (which expired a month ago as of tomorrow). But overall, this war turned out to be a good experience, despite the score being this way. I personally think a lot of the games were really close (again despite the current war score) and could've gone either way, like the Singles game with me and TheBro.

But yeah, your guys' skill level does reflect in your clan standing ;) I hope we can get a few more points in the last few games, but if we don't, then oh well.
