We were practicing a takedown move today and testing for counters to moves as I sometimes do, I let the guy take me down but using the momentum I had built up, swung my foot at his wrist and broke his grip. The fact that it worked rather surprised me.muy_thaiguy wrote:In my class, being double jointed is a double edged sword. Re: the longest thread, thread - Occasionally NSFW
In other news, I saw three movies: Wall-e, I Love You Man, and Gran Torino (In that order).
Wall-e was too slow to develop and once it did the movie was already over half way done. Not only that but it wasn't even good when it finally did develop.
I Love You Man was hilarious at times but also had long dry spells in which it got a bit boring. I would also say that the plot was not very developed.
Gran Torino had a great plot and some good acting but was too slow for my tastes. I wouldn't say it was a bad movie, just not my type and I actually did think that the ending was rather good.
All in all, the best was Gran Torino, despite the fact I enjoyed I Love you Man more I think that Gran Torino gets the nod for a better plot and the worst by far was Wall-e, the most over-rated piece of shit I've ever seen

That said it should come as no surprise to learn that the horrible movie of the week goes to Wall-e.

I don't know.
I bet Twilight is a worst movie, but I cannot judge because I've seen neither.
