Congrats to JesusReigns for not knowing how to use the General Congratulations thread, but also more importantly, for not grasping that even "nice kid"s can break the rules sometimes. For example, I wouldn't call you "mean", but YOU ARE A MULTI.

from my understanding of the event the mods appear to not have the ability to IP ban someone, so the original "hacker" still has complete access to his account and will continue to have access until his browser resets cookies or he signs out
the password was changed and rechanged yet this "hacker" is still able to gain access into his account every time.
it really makes me question site security, as well as the ability of the admins and mods to keep the site under control

to my knowledge Jeff is clean from any cheating/abuse charges and is only being banned because someone else has access to his account
not to mention the "hacker" is also a former member of this site and was banned himself, so he has chosen to hijack someone account

Congratulations grim rear on not managing to adhere to the basic rule of the GC thread. That is to always post in the form of a congratulation.

Congratulations to H2SY for providing a tidbit of news that left us all hanging for the dirty detail, like how long the ban is for.

congrats to recked for explaining the situation better to everyone, the only mistake jeff made was giving his password to people he thought he could trust to sit for him and then them passing it on to max.

Congrats to Ron and Owen for spreading this crap in almost every thread they post in instead of just letting it go, regardless of who they feel was wrong in the whole situation.

Congrats to this thread having passed its first birthday last week. 10,000 viewings can't all be wrong.

This thread should also be congratulated for having kept the essence of the reason for its existence, as a top 3 or 4 read on the front page it now rubs shoulders with those very threads that caused its birth in the firstplace! So I suppose a congratulations should be thrown in the direction of irony.

True enough. I miss reading fruitcake's summary of the week here. In fact, I think the thread was better when fruitcake was contributing here rather than to the newsletter. It's all got a little spiteful in the last couple of pages...

"Congratulations to *********** for proving yet again that he has the brain of an ameoba and the subtlety of an ox under fire..."

But congratulations to CC on mass for proving that spite can always take the place of irony if not managed very, very carefully indeed.
