My first idea is to have additional Spoils options:
(1) "No Spoils first turn" - reduces the huge luck factor involved in the first turn. So often unlucky first trun=defeat.
(2) "Escalating after 20 rounds" - reducing build-up games (or maybe 30 rounds or some other number).
My other idea is perhaps to have "Double Chained" and "Double Adjacent" reinforcement options.

As to #1 there...well, we already have "No Spoils First Turn"...it's not POSSIBLE to have spoils on your first turn.DJ Teflon wrote:My first idea is to have additional Spoils options:

He means that you cannot collect a spoil on your first turn.Woodruff wrote:As to #1 there...well, we already have "No Spoils First Turn"...it's not POSSIBLE to have spoils on your first turn.

I like this ideaMy other idea is perhaps to have "Double Chained" and "Double Adjacent" reinforcement options.
Re: Suggestion - Spoils and Reinforcements Options
I don't see any problem with adding optional reinforcement options. Not sure what #1 is about.
I think some more detail as to what "Double Chained" and "Double Adjacent" means. (simply 2 reinfs?)

Re: Suggestion - Spoils and Reinforcements Options
I suppose "unlimited" adjacent or chained reinforcements is another possibility. The attempt at collecting spoils on your first turn is already an option.
Re: Suggestion - Spoils and Reinforcements Options
I suggested this a year or 2 ago (likely, I was not the first to do so), and it was rejected. I forget the reasoning behind it.Megadeth666 wrote:I like this ideaMy other idea is perhaps to have "Double Chained" and "Double Adjacent" reinforcement options.
