Rank Icons in Live Chat

Concise description:

• Instead of that stupid picture of a person, next to every person's username in Live Chat, could we not be shown that persons rank please?

This will improve the following aspects of the site:

• This would mean people dont have to bother... clicking on username -> clicking view profile -> looking at rank -> closing tab again... to find out if the guy who wants to RT would actually do better in the kitchen.

I like it as well. But, I'm not sure how easy (difficult??) it will be for lack to do. I haven't found a way to do this (I thought of it before and looked to see how hard it would be to do). Then again, lack has proven me wrong before...

I don't go into chat, but this is obviously a very good idea.

Then senior ranks would not have to click a couple of times to realise that the person asking them nicely was, in fact, a complete imbecile. They could then just ignore them completely, a bit like real life!

• When trying to arrange games, would help to gauge the skill of potential teammates/opponents.

Why? All you have to do is scroll up.

I guess it wouldn't hurt at all to have this in Live Chat, though.

If this was implemented you would have a bunch of gold and some grey ranks next to everyones name. How then would one distinguish between a Mod with a Shield and say a Premium Captain? Newcomers would most likely not know who is in authority. If this was implemented, a new way to distinguish Chat mods from players in Live Chat would also need to be implemented?

I'm too lazy to do that, especially in a Battle Royale.

On that note, maybe we can include clickable usernames in the game chat ? It shouldn't be too hard to code.
