Secret Alliance?

Postby rache on Sun Jan 14, 2007 6:43 pm

I'm not really sure where to report this, but I believe game number 160831 is worth looking at. sostlouis and quinten83 have shared a border on Russia and the Far East for most of the game. They have continued to ignore each other even though quinten83 has been dominant. The only smart move would be for sostlouis to break quinten83's bonus, but he has obviously been ignoring that border.

Is this the proper channel to have someone look into the possibility of cheating?

right area, there is a form...at the top of the page where you posted...

this is from the game...

jermag: we can easly take russia, i think we should conentrate ther first

sostlouis: hey jermie.....next time try checking the little box that says "show this message to teammates only"

might not have any discussion outside of the game...but certainly questionable

however...everyone is hovering around 45 armies or less...and in world map, borders do go unprotected...there are so many territories you cant fight everyone.....

someone will see how many games they are in together..to see if there is a pattern

I'd like to also point out that quinten83 took Russia in the first round. Sostlouis took the far east in the third round. They have shared that border undefended for 5 rounds. They no longer share that border because SASpecialK attacked into Russia.

Sostlouis has taken a total of 3 countries from quinten83 the whole game.

The most blatant example was when quinten83 owned 55% of the map by himself. He was getting 17 armies per turn even before the bonus he was getting from the 5 bonus regions he owned. His borders were still totall undefended to sostlouis, and STILL sostlouis did not attack him, instead going after our team (by far the weakest team at that point).

The only time they attacked each other was to take regions. Notice that they are nice enough to move armies out of countries right before the other takes them. How courteous.

Check out game http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=167104, they're clearly friends.

Check the log on game http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=153757, they never attack each other ONCE until all 4 other players are eliminated.

now i may be getting all mixed up on this one, but surely the reason quinten and sostlouis didnt attack each other is because its a doubles game and they are on the same team??

No, different teams in teams in game 160831.

I only posted game 167104 to show that they are obviously friends, that's not really in question. What is in question is if they put their friendship ahead of the rules by forming a secret alliance when they joined a game on separate teams.

The other game shows this isn't the first time they failed to engage each other at the expense of other players in the game.
