General Discussion name change?

We should change the 'General Discussion' forum to 'General Conquer Club Discussion'

The term 'general' means "being involved in a wide variety of subjects" (Oxford American Dictionary)

What the mods make the 'GD' out to be is not General at all, because if it were it would entail a wide variety of topics. Instead they made it for General Conquer Club topics, so i am simply suggesting that we rename the GD to General CC Discussion.

People get confused about what the GD is right now, me included, and post "unrelated" topics.

This would make the forum easier to navigate and more clear.

Also, if we can change the forting system (how rediculous) then we should be able to change something that will actually improve CC somehow.

i pretty much think that your rant in the GD about the economy was properly moved to the Tower of Babble... While I would agree that a change isn't necessarily NEEDED, it also seems to me that it would be a bit of an improvement for any new users that come along to the site with no negative impact at all. So why not do it?

The OP's suggestion won't happen, but I have been wanting to change the name of General Discussion to something that's more specific to CC. I think the admins will go with it if there's something good enough.
