how about for future publications, you put an area where you ask people for submissions of questions, topics, etc, instead of posting separate threads in the GD asking for submissions? that way you won't get upset when GD regulars take you to task for doing it by taking it off topic and poking fun at the CC News. and don't forget, it is still the GD, not the CC NEWS sub forum...-0

So I was on my way here to ask for a subscription when I noticed that, woah, the first issue was out! So, I thought to myself, this might be an interesting piece of literature, why don't I check it out.

A slice of the Fruitcake: Just like normal Fruitcake, it started out alright, and later, made me want to vomit. It was slightly funny, only because it reminded me of that terrible, terrible show I was once force to watch; the gossip girls. Honestly, who actually cares about half the crap in that thread? He's random ass threads from the board, giving a small amount of background on them, and then making fun of the posts, to try and be funny. Shocker, wasn't that funny.

Tournament news was alright, and since Tournaments don't often have huge announcements every week, it was all up to date. But what about next week? Biggest announcement: someone actually posted in the general info.

Most of the tournaments mentioned in the "recruiting tournaments" section are full already.

Featured Clan was actually a bit interesting, but too much "this is what we want in new members", not enough "this is what we're like, how we act, what we expect of our members, who are members are, and how they act while bearing our flag" kind of thing.

It's a really nice looking first effort Sam, but really, half this news is old.
