Order Games in Order of Finish

Post by Gilligan »

Concise description:
  • In 'Recently Finished' games, order the games in the order that they finished.
Specifics:
  • I just finished a game, and it went a third of the way down the list of recently finished. It would be nice to have them in order - Sometimes I wake up and see I lost 50 points, but I don't know what games finished because they aren't at the top.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • More organization and easier to keep track of games.

Agreed. I've thought about that for some time, but never got around to posting about it. I would definitely prefer to have them ordered by when they were finished.

Yep! That has been bothering me as well, its hard to keep track of the games that just finished especially if you have multiple games on the same map or with the same player.

At least make the game list sortable. Sort by game number, finish date, map, style etc. Then you have the best of both worlds, especially if users can preselect a preferred order for the list (so they don't have to sort the list every time)

This is a good idea but whilst waiting for it to materialise, Turn Watch does this for you if you are struggling to keep track.

A plug-in. The problem is that you have to manually add and subtract games to have your "turns watched". Tiresome when you're in lotsa lotsa games.

If you are only interested in your games, then Turn Watch automatically picks them all up on installation.
This means uninstalling associated preferences and reinstalling. I did not get round to providing a means to
rescan your games but should get round to it at some point.

So, because the "so and so players awaiting ratings" thing annoys me, I recently went to clear out the 37 players awaiting rating crap. You try sorting through 111 recently finished games to find 37 players, especially when many are repeat people from other recently finished games. Fucking terrible.
