For closure, dfaarc was banned for point dumping. There was no supporting evidence this account was hacked when this happened.

Are there going to be some point resets or is it one rule for one a different rule for others???

An official warning is not good enough other people who have joined point dumpers games have had a point reset

Im not saying a point reset is the answer only that they do it for some and not others the rules need to be re-hauled so that nobody is in doubt as to what they can and cant do.

Admins/multi hunters you must enforce the rules for all!!

usually you get a warning for gross abuse. Its not that pointreset is an automatic rule, so I fail to see the relevance in this case. Sure hunters should try some levelheadedness in their sentencig, but I believe they try to do so.
In this case warnings have been sent, point resets are not in order. Not my call, but if you disagree, maybe you should submit a ticket. That is, if you are involved in any of the games.
Compare this case to Coded, Coded has not dumped points, it just looked like he did. Should there be point resets in this case too??

can you give me the thread where gambler21210 got his pointreset? cause I aint seeing it.

this is what Twill wrote by the by;

Just to clear things up:

The points do not belong to you, they are part of a pool that self-regulates to reflect the skill of you vis-a-vis other players. Point dumping throws that balance off and ultimately leads to rapid point inflation.

The rules, whatever they may be called, are clearly written and throwing games (i.e. point dumping) is clearly forbidden.

We will go through those users who gained from joining games which were clearly being thrown and issue warnings, if they repeatedly gain from point dumpers even after receiving the warning, they will get point resets.

We enforce the rules to maintain some semblance of validity to the scoreboard and maintain an enjoyable playing atmosphere for the majority of users. While any user may pay to use the site, that does not exempt them from the rules nor does it enable them to abuse the scoring system in any way. It's just that simple.

That is the correct thread you have however twill sent a pm message to us both he banned us from playing together and game gambler21210 a point reset

Jaseleo,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this one.

I am unbanning your account, we freeze accounts during dumping to ensure that it stops quickly as a temporary measure. If you dump points intentionally again, your account will permanently frozen. If you see other users dumping, please let us know and we will act accordingly. We only have so many eyes.

As to your account sitting for sunshining and gambler:
I am going to block your accounts from playing together and issue a point reset to gambler (he will return to 1000 points). This is because, with you logging in so often to those accounts, we cannot ensure that you are not tactically sitting for your partners or, as was the case with Gambler, that you were logging in, creating games, and dumping points to him (resulting in a point reset for him).

Our policy is to protect the integrity of the games and enjoyment for everyone when we can, where we can, by taking precautionary steps. This is one of those precautionary steps and while I know it will be difficult not playing with your friends in games, you have given us sufficient cause to be concerned.

so i, who have played hundreds of games since and have literally won thousands of points in those games should get a point reset for unfairly gaining 80 points a while ago?
thatd seriously be ridiculous!
same goes for half the other players on the list

Jaseleo,
Just to be clear, you asked for one rule for them all... And yet your case makes me wonder why you have not been banned.
gambler21210 had sooooooo many other issue's that meritted a ban that you should really not be surprised he only got a pointreset. Its on thing to pick up a few games. Its quite another to dump points into a friendly account your are controling...

sigh
