Tourney of Disaster! [Winner: banana_hammocks]

Welcome to the Tourney of Disaster! This tournament features 24 players competing on Conquer Club's "disaster" maps. You will only be playing on one map at a time, so free players with a slot open are able to play as well.

A different map will be used for each of the five rounds. We will begin with what is more potential disaster, with advancing rounds featuring maps of increasing disaster.

Round 1: Arms Race, 2 players (1v1, winner will advance)
Round 2: Duck and Cover, 2 players (1v1, winner will advance)
Round 3: Supermax: Prison Riot, 3 players (top 2 players will advance)
Round 4: US Apocalypse, 2 players (1v1, winner will advance)
Round 5: Extreme Global Warming, 2 players (1v1, winner will win the tourney and will be declared "Master of Disaster")

All maps will be standard sequential with unlimited reinforcements.

Due to the extent of espionage during the cold war, rounds 1 and 2 will also be "cloaked in secrecy" using ... fog of war! The remaining rounds will be sunny.

Spoils will be escalating in four of the five rounds due to the escalating nature of the disasters featured in these maps. The exception in round 4 (US Apocalypse).

Participants and updates will be listed here. Just reply to this thread to join! When the tourney begins, I will PM you with instructions. Your opponents will be assigned using the old fashioned method of drawing names from a bowl.
