I have explained, A professional is evidently needed as it seems to me. The task at hand is too much for the unprofessional mods to handle on their own. This is NOT meant as a slam, or to just be mean. I think a helping hand is what they need. Someone who knows the right way to say things. Someone who knows that dealing with the public requires that you not take it personally. The public wants, no, demands satisfaction. This is true as a department store customer service rep. as it is an online forum moderator. It is a part of the job. You can not expect the customers to understand your problems. Most do not care. A mod on the other hand, should be expected to solve problems, not escalate them. There are special techniques that customer service reps are taught. The mods need desperately this teacher.spiesr wrote:You are just explaining what you believe to be problems of the site. In fact, a paid sheriff to oversee the mods would not have to power to change site policy on newbie farming and similar "issues".

As has been said several times before in this thread (and you continue to ignore them) this is what Twill was hired to do, it's his job to make sure the volunteer mods are doing their job, and making sure the forums are ran correctly. I can almost guarantee you that no new paid person will be hired, and it is equally likely that even an unpaid person would be put as an admin (or "sherrif", tex)porkenbeans wrote:I have explained, A professional is evidently needed as it seems to me.
