Concise description:

Awarded to members that defeated X unique opponents

• Beating New Recruits does not count towards those medals

Specifics:

• Ratings medal can still be gained by rating New Recruits
• If this is put into place it will mean that a few players lose their standard medal, but it's for the greater good

This will improve the following aspects of the site:

• Will act to discourage farming
• It will also make medals more interesting because only people that actually play ranked players will be able to gain this medal

What happens when those new recruits are promoted? Are they then counted in people's unique defeats or not?

If it were done so that New Recruits who remain NR's don't get counted I'd be up for it - but as soon as that NR was promoted, I'd want it to count...

I don't see this as having an impact on farming, players who farm are after points, not medals.

I say that a NR's first 5 games don't count for medals, everything after that is fair game.
