If something says you have to be 18 or older to view it, I would highly recommend not posting it on this site. Or be 110% sure that everything on that page is clean.

Anybody with a youtube account can flag any video, no matter the content. In fact when you title a video like this you want it flagged, so idiots will really believe they will be on to something.

Well, I never looked at the original, because of the age-related warning - I never enable anything like that in case the kids stumble across it (yes, I may have the only porn-free computer in the Northern hemisphere!).

I must say, it is pretty much complete bullshit that I got banned over it.

It was an honest mistake, and I had no idea I would be PUNISHED for something I had no control over. But fine, lesson learned. Don't post anything that might include links to other things! Of course, it wouldn't even be an issue if we were allowed to embed videos.

I honestly wish Night Strike could be arbitrarily banned for 24 hours, or better yet, a few days. Let him see what heavy handed judgments feel like, both as a condemnation of a person's character, and as a completely heavy handed method for dealing with things.

I even PMed a mod when I first posted that thing, saying to be sure to check the link before overreacting. The mods know I am responsive and cooperative. They didn't have to take punitive measures.

This is why people don't bother renewing. What's the point? Even an obviously harmless joke has to become a big federal issue, instead of quietly taking it down and letting it fade into the ether of forum memory. Nope, instead it has to become a big deal.

Seriously, it feels like they were LOOKING for a reason to act punitively in this case because of the completely ancillary nature of the objectionable content.
