1. My mother's family came over on the Mayflower, and my father's family came to pan for gold 250 years later.

2. I have a passion for glass (It's a remarkable substance; a supercooled liquid begging to be manipulated.).

3. I'm honing my aquarium skills so that one day I might have seahorses.

4. I can speak 3 languages well, and 2 languages badly.

Hrm...these things always seem easy at first...lessee...

1. I have 2 undergrad degrees and a masters and I've never really used any of them in the jobs I've done.
2. I attended Indiana University Bloomington for all of those degrees.
3. I spent about 9 years being a UNIX sysadmin/programmer...mostly sysadmin, though.
4. I've opened two furniture stores in the last 4 years (how'd I get here from being a UNIX admin ? All I know is that I had too much to drink one night and I woke up here.)
5. I collect guitars and amps and have too many (I currently limit myself to 10 guitars...which means I have 12 right now and 5 amps...so I have 7 amps).

2)I too was born in Wurzburg Germany. ( grew up an Army Bratt) Just like jay did.

3) I grew up mostly in New Hampshire in the snow..and from the age of 7 till oct of 2005 always had a guinea pig around me and even use to breed them!

4) I love VTMarik, animals, kids, playing billiards, and taking pictures

5) I graduated college in massage therapy in 2005..passed my national exam in august of 2006, and just recently started working for a chiropractor where I make at least 70/80 dollars a day!

hmm lets see here

1. I've played for both basketball and soccer rep teams, moving up to an under 21, division 2 team (in a southern ontario team) when I was 17, and was ranked in the top 5 for singles in ontario for badminton.
2. 1st year engineering @ university (looking into civil engineering or eng physics)
3. Born in canada...dutch, scottish, british, irish roots.
4. See Skittlesandmnms #4 for mine, except add homework and take out food for the most part (My life consists basically of food, sleep, school, music and a bit of internet time)
5. I am 6 foot 1, 150 pounds and I find that it is extremely difficult for me to gain weight (extremely high metabolism)

I have jumped from airplanes over 125 times (USPA Class-C)
I brew/keg my own beer and have three on tap now!
I have eaten ant eggs in Mexico, horse sashimi in Japan, ostrich in Chile and something with hooves in Hungary (boar?).
I can juggle torches, knives or three of about any object.
I dont believe in fairys, satyrs, demons, centaurs, leprechauns, angels, chupacabras, gods or any other mythological entities.

1. I got badly burned with boiling water over my face when I was 3-4 years old, but recovered with absolutely no after-effects.

2. The brakes failed on my bike when I was 4 years old, and I careered into a street lamp, banging my head somewhat severely but, (I believe) with no after-effects, it's difficult to remember. Though I remember I shat myself.

3. I broke my leg when I was 12, playing football with my Dad. That hurt a bit.

4. I got severely drunk in Spain when I was 23, and lost my hotel key, wallet, glasses, and one of my hearing aids, and woke up severly bruised in an unfamiliar hotel car park. Luckily, I had one hearing aid left, and it's surprising how easy it is to take an optician's test if you know much of the rigmarole anyway, despite the fact the optician is talking in very-heavly-accented English.

5. When I was 26, I split my head in the accountant's office where I work, by jumping down the stairs, and not realising the ceiling above was so low. Kids! Don't worry if you have a head injury and the blood flows profusely! Believe you me, I couldn't see out of my glasses for the blood, but I was fine 3 minutes later.

I have more, but that's just the injuries I've sustained.
