Conquer Club Newsletter [Feedback]

Postby samuelc812 on Wed Dec 17, 2008 4:45 am

Hey fellow CCer's,

We have a Foundry Newsletter and a Tournament Newsletter, but what if we had a Newsletter for the whole entire site covering all news? I know it would be hard work, but i would be happy to start a team to put it together? It mite be hard work but i am willing to take on the challenge...

Anyway this thread is just to gage any interest, tell me what you think ;)

Happy Conquering,

Isn't that what the General Congrats thread used to be?

A Newsletter? Isn't that for just congratulating people on their achievements?

It is now, but originally, Fruitcake was giving weekly updates on the happenings around the GD and CC in general.

i can't imagine it being that different every issue though...

Example:
CC Newsletter
This week's top story: Farmers at top of scoreboard.
In other news: someone got banned.

eh... i just don't really care enough about the other people on this site to read about whos doing what really... congrats threads keep me updated enough anyways.

i'd still read it if you made it, but i don't really like the idea. maybe its because i'm a forum regular, so i don't need the updates. but i suppose it could be good for people who aren't in the forums all the time

I was thinking of soemthing fortnightly not weekly, and i wasn't planning on congratulating everyone who has achieved something, or identify farmers... And yes you are a forum regular so i can understand your dis-interest...

I was not in the forums until recently, so I never got the chance to read his editorials. He always seems to have something interesting to say, so I would enjoy seeing that.
FYI, Did you know that fruit. and Seul. are the only 2 in the top 20 that has a MAP RANK of EQ. All the rest are Point Hoarders or Noob Farmers.
