I really would like this fixed, I get excited thinking I am getting an important PM, when it just turns out to be someone accidentally replying to everybody else
*important PM's being those from any member of CC

Yeti, you can put me down in the side of those who HATE this. Post reply SHOULD go to the person who sent it, that's who you're replying to if i want to reply to all then I should click the Reply to All (which doesn't exist).
The current system is horrible.

Plus -- It's a Private Message, not too private when it goes to everyone.
EDIT: Just got my 19th PM from that one invitation...

Re: leave "Reply" alone
It is too bad, but it goes back to PHPBB changing the existing button instead of making a new one. Really don't get why they did it when there would be obvious reasons in any board of using both buttons and it would be less convenient to use only one.
Would suggest people stopping by PHPBB3's site and making a suggestion for two buttons since it would be fundamentally easier for them to do globally than our folks here. I know one discussion has started in this thread, not sure if there are others or how long this one will stay open since I think it might be in the wrong forum:

Re: leave "Reply" alone
Is this ever going to be fixed? I've caught hell today because I've sent out a mass e-mail and many people keep replying and their reply (unbeknownst to them) is going to everyone on the list. At least make the Reply button say "Reply to All", even if you can't make a "Reply to Sender" button.

But what is sender feels the recievers all see to whomever the post is recieved by ?Night Strike wrote:If you add all the names as BCC instead of normal, that should (theoretically) keep it from being replied to all.
and
What if a reciever see a point that is vital and sender missed to mention something, then a broadcast to all recievers would be beneficial for correction purposes.
Is it possible we have reply sender / reply all options ?
