another colorado blizzard, fun fun
however this time i've only gotten about 13inches and they only expect another 3-6 by sunday morning for my area
which adds up to 16-19 by the end of the storm
the blizzard last week gave me about 3 ft of snow, that's an average because some snow drifts were almost 5 feet tall
this is already the 3rd snowiest december in denver's history and will probably end up to be the 2nd
the storm last week was the 7th worst ever for denver
this one will make it within the top 15, maybe even top 10
and this year was going to be the 2nd driest in denver's history but these two storms kinda blew that
now they're trying to come up with names...

If God exists, and I believe, I go to heaven. If God doesn't exist, and I believe, nothing happens. If God exists, and I don't believe, I get sent to Hell. So, there is no chance of anything bad happening to me after death if I believe.

The reason people aren't religious is because they don't want to "waste their time" with it. They just don't want to put any of their precious time into it.

And the problem with pascal's wager:
He said that you may as well believe in god, because if you don't and you're wrong you go to hell. It then follows that you should investigate every major religion and find the one with the worst hell, and believe in that. Same principle taken to a logical conclusion. Obviously fucking ridiculous, not to mention the assumption that someone can choose to believe in a god. And if you are prepared to quote it as a bedrock of your own faith, then you're more of a moron than you make out.
