Ok, i was playing the new COD: WW and my screen froze, i was like f*ck, f*ck please not now, and it was what i was thinking of the 3 red rings of death, so i was like shit! i'll give it a few hours i'll try again, and miracuosly it worked again but i was still doubtful it would do it again so i wouldn't be suprised if it done it again and it did, i've tried to see if it worked again and it did but i'm not going to play it even though it works because it might effect my warranty, so i'm going to get it fixed down my local store but i'm so pissed off considering christmas is round the corner so i'm just going to have to stick fill my time more differently so hopefully before christmas, thanks.

Try cleaning the disk drive, a similar thing happened to my PS2 and all it took was some of that canned air.
The big trouble with dumb bastards is that they are too dumb to believe there is such a thing as being smart.

Huh? Your joking...right? Hard disc drives are sealed.Grooveman2007 wrote:Try cleaning the disk drive, a similar thing happened to my PS2 and all it took was some of that canned air.
Unless you are talking about the DVD drive...but that wouldn't result in the RROD.
Nothing, as the Elite is exactly the same console as the other XBOX models (Arcade & Premium). It just adds the 120GB hard drive, headset and a few cables that you can buy separately for the other models.HapSmo19 wrote:What's wrong with the Elite? I'm buying one shortly.

Yup. It also used to be the only model with HDMI, but they all have HDMI out now.Backglass wrote:Nothing, as the Elite is exactly the same console as the other XBOX models (Arcade & Premium). There is also a "towel trick" you can do to make the 360 work after RROD. You could use the trick until you get the shipping box from Microsoft to ship you bad 360 back.
I've never tried the trick myself, but it has apparently worked for others. Try at your own risk.
