well yeah, theres 4 types you can play. singles,doubles,triples,quads. If the last 3 game types are farming noobs than I guess everyone can only play singles or they are farming. oh wait, it also has to be singles vs high ranks because if you play a 1 vs 1 ( singles ) that is farming too. So pretty much everything is farming to you.

You seem to forget that it's a lot more variations to singles. Sure, you can look at it your way. With singles, doubles, triples and quads being the only ways to play. But there are a lot more diffrent game types for singles.
But to be picky, there isnt a game type called singles. It's Standard, Terminator, Assassin, Doubles, Triples and Quads. (making dubs/trips/quads 50% of the game types avalible)

I'm not saying everything is noob farming. But when you join low ranks (around corpral down), then you always join second in freestyle game. Which gives you the going first advantage which is a very big advantage.

If you failed to see what i ment somewhere, please dont hesitate to ask me to further explain or something like that.

well dah, thats why I join freestyle games. To make sure I go first. The rank has nothing to do with it. You never see a high rank starting a public/freestyle 1 vs 1 game. And if you do, its a rare occasion. So I started this thread to call out the high ranks to play me. Now if they dont respond or refuse to play, I cant force them. but either way, now you cant say I wont play them.

to sum things up, it really comes down to luck in any game you decide to play. Take our 5 game series. We both know how to play the game and the maps selected. It really came down to me having the better dice. It had nothing to do with what was being attacked or where forces were deployed.

so the player that goes first collects a large deployment in the 1st round and destroys the other player who can never rebound because he cant catch up unless the 1st player gets bad dice.

you will get the same 5 maps as the other 2 challengers did.

This part is the best so far. He doesn't want to rely on the luck of playing first with a good chance to win from second when the other person messes up; he wants to rely on the luck of the dice for everything. And going first. Because that'll still let you win 3/4 of "Classic" maps.

I am referring to your comment about just you and Blitz r the only ones over 3k,who dont just stick to 1 thing.I am over 3500 and have many public games up and play all maps+settings.

really? i see lots of high ranks playing FS casual and there is almost always a speed FS 1v1 you can join...

and i just had a look at your games list it looks more like 70%+ are against "?"s or ranks around that mark...

but i dont blame you in must be hard to keep that rank (without playing speed FS with a ridiculous connection)

I've played him twice, once having the pleasure of eliminating him in a doubles match, and once in a speed game where he strolled in and ate my lunch.

One of the reasons I'm low rank, is that I'll try any map, and play anyone regardless of rank. Points are inconsequential. But even if someone is using methods inside the parameters of the rules and maps to give their victory and edge....when everyone has the same right to do so and the difference are just study, familiarity and experience.....

Would that not be called strategy? Picking the ground you fight on, the conditions you do so

Now I'm not big on farming, but loosing is a learning experience so perhaps the noobs loosing a few make them less noob.

yeah- I was thinking 3-2 me after the first round but the dice on Alexandria were horrible. 3 turns = no cards. oh well, thats part of the game. gg's
