Design Home page for CC. If you dont know how to photo shop, you could just explain it in words. This will improve the site, as it could use a face lift. I know that the talent can be found right here within our members. You ''layer battle'' boys and girls come to mind. This thread is for both, those with the idea looking for someone with the skill, and visa-versa. Ill start, and offer an Idea. If you have the skill and interest, please feel free to make something out of it. I envision a midevel period, Great Hall. With a rotating crystal globe at the center. All 100 maps continualy, one by one revolving on it. On the pillers, etched in stone, would be the names of all the greats that have gone before. Mood music would be an awsome addition. As would clickable tutorials and videos. Who knows, maybe the LACK-man will see something, he likes. ...HAVE FUN.

we are currently working on a thread like that now - for or against changing the pic on the home page. if you want to make a difference, go there and talk, dont make new threads about the same stuff. maybe just make one thread that tells people to do something cool and make a contest out of it. also, use the template that they give you so we dont have to read through 500 lines of "jibberjabber".

The random map image is just a small change, this thread is about redesigning the whole page (suggesting that we have a competition to do it)

Yes, I have already READ, SAID, THREAD. lol. As a matter of fact, I gave my 2 thumbs up on ''homes'' ideas, about the need for a different map on the home page, and rotating or streaming 100 maps. Excellent idea. I said so, and it struck me that why not just go ahead and re-design a WHOLE NEW HOME PAGE. That is why I even set a link there to this thread. Im fairly new to this medium, as Im sure you can tell. Which brings up the ''template'' It is un-useable for a person that does not know anything about scripting, or codding, or what ever you call it. I dont know where to enter data in the form. If this is so important, why dont one of you comp. geeks fix it, so us comp. dummies can just fill it in ? Like any other form on any other site. You, and others, could then rest your wagging fingers. ...

Here you delete the "xxxxxxx (you can obviously delete this for bug reports)" and the "xxxxxxx" and replace them correspondingly with the first improvement this will make to the site, and the second improvement the suggestion will make to the site. It will look like this in your post:

• Another thing that will be improved on the site.

heres how to use it:
delete everything betweeen the <delete me> brackets.
replace first xxxxxxx for the concise description
then, just fillit in with the info, making a brief summary of every thing.
post it.
then make a reply to that saying what you would like it to be. then we wont have to read through so much writing to figure out what you are getting at

I was being metaphoricle about the browny buttons, but, I would be more than willing to create a special ''LACK''prize medal. Or we could even have a compitition for that too.

Yes, I just noticed the medal page does in fact already have a special medal for contribution. Its a little ''LACK-ing'' though. I am member of layer battle group. I think that I will suggest there, the idea of a compition to revamp medals and rank insignas. Thanks.
