A point reset has been suggested already ... and rejected. As I said in your other thread, you are obviously concerned about this issue, and might come up with some good ideas, but you need to do a little more research.
P.S. It is not impossible for anyone new to reach conquerer. Difficult .. but so should it be.

Who has the time to wade through all the miles of thread ? Let me ask you, Why was it rej. and did they have a poll. I dissagree with your P.S. It is indeed imp. to catch them. Just as it is imp. to catch up to my grandfather in age.PLAYER57832 wrote:A point reset has been suggested already ... and rejected. Your grandfather cannot lose years. Top players can and do lose pointsporkenbeans wrote:Who has the time to wade through all the miles of thread ? I cannot remember all the reasons for rejecting it, but the biggest part was folks not wanting to lose all the points they had accrued, particularly if they decided to take a break from CC for a while. (a lot of players are "casual"/"occasional" players)
But .. go find the thread if you are interested. You took the time to post. You say you don't have time, but do you think the mods like to wade through a hundred of the exact same suggestions, either? If you want your post to really get attention, do your homework first.
Re: Declare winner and reset everyone back to noob
Two things. If you are a lower score than somebody and you play against the same rank of opponents and win the same amount and percent of game you will catch up to them because you would gain points faster than them. In order to pass them you will have to be better than them though. 2. Changes to CC are not decided by polls. They are decided through executive decisions with community discussion possibly referred as a suggestion.

you put up a poll when you create the thread. if you want a poll, put up your own poll. however, a point reset has been discussed, scoffed at, and declared the worst idea since allowing busted multis to buy back into CC...-0

There are people who have reached the brig level in less that 100 games. I would say it is rather possible, you just actually have to be good. Those people did not get up there overnight either.

It sounds quite selfish to reset ones score just because they are "too good" for the rest of us...
I would be annoyed that all the games i have played were worth nothing just because of a silly reset.
It will NEVER happen.

Think about this, They will have their names forever carved in the Great Hall. It may even spark up the game for them, as they will now, have a new goal to be the player with the most mentions in that most honorable hall.Me-Da-MiNoRiTY wrote:It sounds quite selfish to reset ones score just because they are "too good" for the rest of us...

A score reset has been rejected many times. CC is designed for casual gamers, and score resets only function well for competitive purposes.porkenbeans wrote:Think about this, They will have their names forever carved in the Great Hall. It will NEVER happen.I envision an annual reset. I can also see that Great Hall as CCs' Official home page, where all who play will see the names of the greats every time they log on.

you and every..... wtf? Who died to give you hope of being king? Take a chill pill and stop trying to claim you are speaking on behalf of the rest of us, we are quite capable of expressing our opinion ourself without having you trying to big yourself up tbqh.porkenbeans wrote: I along with everyone at CC. would like to acknowledge their achievement
You would have better luck of getting a suggestion through if you did some research instead of just re-hashing some old rejected ideas. Using the form would probably help too.porkenbeans wrote:Who has the time to wade through all the miles of thread ?
No, just no. Rank is there to show skill (it doesn't do it perfectly I admit) and there is no yearly reset of a players skill.porkenbeans wrote:I envision an annual reset.

If you don't have the time to research, why should the mods take the time to consider YOUR idea?
