2 games in a row I started off losing 8 armies in a row. Blah, blah,blah I know that it is a "random" dice generator, but it isn't random anywhere when it happens two games in a row. BS. CC has basically given me two losses in a row. I'd like to hear from a moderator about this. I've been on here for a long time and for it to happen twice in one day is rediculous.

The dice are random, it's been proven. Not much you can do about it.

Happening two games in a row doesn't say anything about being or not being random. You are going to notice the bad much more than the good anyways.

I want you to try something. Try recording when you go on great dice streaks, like rolling six sixes in a row while defenders roll one's, or something similar. I think you'll find that one extreme happens just as often as the other.

YOU ASSAULTED MY BATTLESHIP!!!! you have to be kidding. you want to talk to a mod about getting poor, um, assault cubes? with everything going on in the forums, the foundry and behind the scenes, do you really think this is even a valid request? 2 games does not indicate a pattern. if you have a problem, go to www.random.org, and ask them about the assault cubes.-0

i'm so glad you made this thread, i have made like 3 of these threads myself, haha. I get pissy streaks too. My recent bad streak lasted over 3 weeks and i lost nearly 27% of my score. I dropped from around 1950 all the way down to 1518 or something in that span, but now im back up. Just like the stockmarket this is a game of fluctuations, it are those who good who in the long run continue to rise.

Absolutely right! Just today I was flipping my old favourite quarter: heads, tails, heads, tails, heads and then... heads! Two times in a row! I was outraged! So I went down to the mint, and told them they made a defective quarter, and I demanded a new one. I'd been flipping that quarter for years and never noticed, because it was always fair before that: anytime I flipped heads, it would be tails after that, then heads again. Perfectly random.

People don't understand the concept of random. If you lose say 10 vs 3 or something and then complain how dice aren't random. Yes they are, they just proved it. Random means anything can happen not the most likeliest thing will happen.

a failed assault is subject to many ill feelings other than the typical blame the dice rant. Of course it is the dices fault, they were low in number. But this could also be tied to a root cause you may or may not remember. "Spoil failure" as some may refer to can cause ill feeling when you don't get the spoils and the other player is spoiling all over the place. Say it, "spoils". Failing to spoil will often cause inconstancies in personalities and feelings of; "rejection", "low self esteem", and yes, even a slight but ever so apparent cold prickly. Spoiling has always been a favorite pastime for all of us, some of us knew it and some of us are just now realizing. It is important to understand the effects of spoil failure before writing posts that just blame the dice. Once again, of course it is bad dice, but Spoil Failure Syndrome is nothing to play with. Here for your support in the spoiling of spoiled spoils.

Don't worry, it's just part of your development as a player on CC to get upset and whine and cry about the "intensity levels".

Just please do advance to the next stage, which is to recognize and embrace the statistical reality of probability and risk management. Since, that's what the game is all about, bro.
