I think you missed the part about Twill explaining to everyone who was asking him that he knew very little about the map change. I would assume that if he knew that little, that he did not actually make the revamp. Lets not jump to conclusions now shall we? And lets not respond that I was jumping to a conclusion that you were thinking Twill did the revamp. that is the problem of the forums, you can generalize and then prove yourself correct against any response.

70 percent of the players play the classic map... it is why they come and why they stay... the manner in which this was introduced... heavy handed and abruptly is what typifies the arrogance of big business... yes...conquerclub grew from a business which cared what u though to an arrogant business who could care less. I and many other will abandon this site... there are others around and frankly this place is a joke.

There may be other sites, but conquerclub has the largest variety of settings, and maps. And the maps are, in general, much higher quality than in all of the other sites.

I also recall that 2 months ago there were several threads in the GD that said cc has the best customer service ever... funny how the same people are not putting down its every move, and complaining at every temporary, unavoidable change. I say "unavoidable" because it was not their fault the server crashed, and it was not their fault people were threatening to sure them.

I run big databases for fortune 500 companies and know what it takes to evoke such a change. THERE WAS NO SERVER OUTAGE... it was more LIES from them...

It is what big business does... it lies and Lack likely learned this behavior in his previous jobs...

He had to do find replaces on ever attach and fortify etc... think about it.

As to how ugly it is, sure, it can be revamped, and hopefully will be, it's not my favourite map right now However, it's got to steer well clear of any possible copyright concerns.

oh come on guys .. let's start with the truth and it will be much more easy for us to be supportive of the site!

every time there is a big update: they apply the new ratings system or change a map just for example; the server mysteriously and purely coincidentally crashes due to third party culpability.

I am with you guys, i truly am 100% with CC.. but please come clean and stop irritating me by moving my bloody posts and threads hehe.

This new classic map is brutal. I have loved CC and play the classic map exclusivley. I understand the circumstances around the change, but you must have for seen something like this happening. If there is not a good replacement, I would not be renewing my membership. Shall I say it again....its brutal.
