Order of play and number of turns in doubles games.
I am in a doubles game where two of the teams have been reduced to single players. At the start of the game, each team had one turn and the player to take that turn, alternated each round. Now the team with both players involved seems to have an advantage because both players are able to take a turn each round which makes it feel virtually impossible for the other teams to make any headway, though I am prepared to concede that this may just be because they are displaying superior tactics. What is the thinking behind this?

order is as normal except the eliminated players are skippe
for example:
(everyone alive)
team1:
Pl1
Pl2
team2:
Pl3
Pl4
the order : Pl1 -> Pl3 -> Pl2 ->Pl4
(Pl2 is dead)
team1:
Pl1
team2:
Pl3
Pl4
the order : Pl1-> Pl3 -> Pl4-> Pl1 -> Pl3 etc.
for example:
(everyone alive)
team1:

team2:
Pl3
Pl4
the order : Pl1 -> Pl3 -> Pl2 ->Pl4
(Pl2 is dead)

team2:

the order : Pl1-> Pl3 -> Pl4-> Pl1 -> Pl3 etc.
