I'm a very rare guest in this sub-forum. jnd opened a new thread in GD, I judged him as an honest and benevolent poster, so I wanted to warn him that he's taking the issue way too seriously. However, jnd's thread was merged with this one very soon. If I predicted that, I probably wouldn't post.
But now, here we are. I'm partly involved and I am staying until I finish a discussion with reasonable posters. Apologies to the others - for this very offensive trespassing...

And I do think that his sex abuse means something.

I'd appreciate if you elaborate this, at least a bit. For the beginning - do you actually know what offense he exactly did?
And comparison with wounded hero isn't really good. Wump chose a picture of a person with obvious disability. IMO, he had a precise goal. And he succeeded...

If perhaps unattractive, I find nothing offensive with the way he looks. Now, explain how what I did was routine trolling.

Well, before getting a premium, I was reading this forum much more than today. And in old posts you demonstrated:
a) at least MENSA level intelligence
b) very good background education for your age
c) extremely liberal standpoints
d) tendency to provoke less subtle minds, making fun of it

And now you are trying to convince us that you're genuinely offended by involving some sexual offender, without even knowing (at least without saying to us) what kind of offense he did??? Very unconvincing to me...

I thought you wanted to add some fuel while staying out of crowd. So you chose guy's sexual offense as an excuse. That's trolling, IMHO...

My hypothesis might be wrong, but it seems very reasonable... So I still believe in it, until otherwise proven...
